I created this project as a way to technically challenge myself, combining a variety of making techniques to build an imaginative world from the ground up. It was developed during the height of the 2020 COVID lockdown, at a time when I was looking for a creative escape from the stress and uncertainty of the pandemic.
While we were being told to stay inside, I wanted to create something that contrasted that reality—a vibrant, peaceful outdoor world to explore while stuck indoors. We used bright colors and cute, whimsical imagery to emphasize its fantastical and dreamlike quality. The final result was a video that brought this world to life, showing characters enjoying quiet, joyful moments in nature—a small piece of calm in a chaotic time.
