Given the phrase ‘Show us what you’re made of’ I wanted to use this as a chance to think about the identity of my practice as an Illustrator, how do I want to present myself to people?
At the time I was on a studying abroad in Kyoto, and noticed how the form of a business card was so prominent there. Using this as a starting point I wanted to play with different ways of making business cards, to see how it affected the message and tone.
